| the numbers are the same as a stage 3 Z at 14psi. I have to imagine that the turbo difference is not an apples to apples comparison, but I doubt those turbos at 9psi are significantly better power wise than stockers at 13p-14psi which is the psi level of a stage3 at approx 320rwhp. The newest generation AAE manifolds will be used on my Demon Z build and do require downpipes and testpipes. All of this ( assuming the numbers and fittment are good ) will be provided as a package deal. Anyone interesed can contact me for details about availability / pricing. I have a direct line to Jon. The nice thing about the newest design is that they eliminate some of the bends in the previous design and minimize / straighten some of the angles in the downpipe design. Jon hasn't spoken on this much, but if you believe in the argument of the bends in the exhaust system slowing down the exhaust stream, well **** nuff said **** Besides the fact that at higher RWHP levels, the full 3 inch downpipe should offer less restriction than and non 3 inch downpipe design ( especially coupled with a full 3 inch exhaust ) ... I am expecting more power in the Demon Z than the Devils Z. If I didn't believe so strongly that these will outperform MS manifolds, I would not have tried this pre-production item on my build.
reference pics below from ZCON AAE on the left. You can see deeper / longer runners on the AAE manifold. I am guessing that this will be a benefit on a large high flowing turbo like the GT28RS
MS has a wider opening / port than AAE but the area inside the ports are smoother on the AAE which will help gas velocity

In short, I don't think you can go wrong with either setup and it really depends on a few things on which one would be ideal for your setup IMHO. 1) The size of your turbos ~ and the amount of air one expects to flow 2) The port size of the heads. If the heads are modified, I can easily see where the port size opening will make a huge difference This is one of the reasons why it might be important to flow test the manifold designs without a head. This is not a real world test but is more of an apples to apples comparison of CFM. I would also add on to say that it would be nice to test each runner for quality and consistency as compared to stock. Quality control and symmetry ( right side and left side ) are just as important IMHO. My Demon Z is coming together and the IPP engine is going in the chassis within a weeks time. Also Ash is bench flow testing my AAE manifolds. My Demon Z and Devils Z will have the same build with slight variances :
( built SZ automatic, inconel vs AAE manifolds, Fischer pulley, 60MM throttle bodies, etc) : ..but it will be interesting to see how similiar or dis similiar the numbers are
